The house was very dark and had no wall space, only one bath and a very unusable kitchen. Windows made placement of furniture almost impossible. By replacing the kitchen, adding walls, changing the windows adding a half bath and pocket doors the house is actually larger than just having one big open space. Light floors and walls keep the feeling of space.
