Located in the midwest with the feel of Colorado or Wyoming. Throughout design studies efforts were applied to material selections that parallel the west. The western states, known for wide open spaces, rugged country, meadows and groves of aspen trees all defined the design goal for this property. Large outcrop stones were sized to properly scale the home and property were strategically placed within meadows and masse plantings of perennials and yucca. River Birch trees were nestled in to play the role of the iconic Aspen tree of the west. Outdoor grilling and long summer days aside the pool overlooking open pasture lands lead one to wonder just when will be it time to saddle up the horses and ride away!
