Drawing on the strong Midwestern characteristics of this property, we designed an estate landscape that prioritizes privacy, natural beauty and water. Though unified and consistent in its use of materials and details, the property provides a wide variety of outdoor experiences and entertainment possibilities including an orchard, vegetable garden, dining area, pool, shade garden and waterfall. Taking a cue from English country gardens, the property includes a rough-mown natural meadow to relax the design and expanse of a manicured golf green.
