The Miller Park residence was originally a colonial ranch house designed by early Utah modernist architect Slack Winburn, and featured an elliptical entry foyer, an angular floor plan opening to a private courtyard, and a surprising rotunda overlooking a bird refuge. The program for the new owners included adding an upper level for three bedrooms and reconfiguring the kitchen and dining spaces with improved access from the garage level–all while maintaining the historic character of the street located in a national historic district.
