This corner condo kitchen is petit, but functional. We added a larger overhang for the countertop in order to allow for a workspace as well as a seating area for entertaining.

We opened up this kitchen floor plan slightly to allow for storage on both sides of the stove - this allows for additional storage, and makes the best use of the space. Slight variations in the colour of the counter to the backsplash gives some visual appeal to this kitchen.

Lighting can make the space. Often we look too much at the space we are renovating, and not enough at the surrounding areas and how we can improve on them also. A complete renovation has considered surrounding rooms and spaces, to make sure that we have added details that flow throughout the home.

The upper cabinets in this kitchen have lift ups which allow for easy access to the top storage solutions. What would normally be 2 doors, becomes 1, allowing us to show off more flat, clean, custom millwork in this contemporary kitchen.

This built in hood fan slides out when in use and slides back . Detailing the space is important, and clean lines mixed with detailed tile gives visual appeal and adds fun to the space.

Light colour wood cabinets allow for the pop of a black handle accent. Flat panel millwork is easy to clean, and ties in well with a sleek modern look.

The visual appeal of this white counter mixed with a black accent faucet and black composite sink, brings the right combination of easy to clean, and beautiful to look at. By extending the peninsula in this space, we allowed the chef to also be part of the party.

Composite sinks are scratch resistant, and look great! The tiny button on the counter is for the garburator - when the wall is not close by, an air switch is the best option.

This fireplace surround was re tiled, but the manthe was simply re painted in this condo renovation. This is a good example of "scope creep" where the main area was the kitchen to renovate, but the fireplace needed a facelift, and with the right planning and design, we can improve the surrounding...
