This first-time home owner presented a fantastic design challenge with this empty canvas townhouse. This 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2,300 sq ft home was previously a rental for the last 4 years and was a wonderful blank slate to work with. The client wanted all new paint throughout the home, granite countertops, backsplash, cabinet hardware, carpet on the stairs and entire 2nd floor, new floor tile in guest and master bathroom, all new light fixtures, furniture, rugs, basic window treatments, and accessories. New appliances and mattresses, along with the guest room furniture and bedding, were provided by the client. A minimalistic look with touches of midcentury modern and pink accents were the key design elements to pull together whole home.
All this was done, along with design fees, for less than $20,000!
