After 20 years of living in a 1980 era “contemporary” home, I finally decided to put my own client projects aside and focus on designing and updating our own master suite. So I retained my friends at ALC Homebuilders, LLC to help bring this vision to a reality. The existing space for the master bath was quite small but I did not want to encroach into the closet or the adjacent bedrooms and certainly did not wish to increase the homes footprint. We also did not need a tub as there are several others in the house so instead; we opted for a generous shower enclosure from the Kohler Choreograph collection. Other features include heated Italian porcelain tile floor, a Velux solar operated skylight in a new vaulted ceiling, brushed nickel fixtures and teak wood accents. I am quite pleased with the results!
