We bumped out the existing small kitchen/back entryway into a larger kitchen addition. An archway was added from the dining area to kitchen to add character. The kitchen cabinetry is quartersawn oak in a shaker style. There is plenty of counter space with the cabinets wrapping around the kitchen with two peninsulas. The backsplash is made of slate type of stone. Adding to the uniqueness of the kitchen is a built-in refrigerator with matching cabinet doors and a pull-out pots and pans drawer with a spice rack under the cook top.
