Fireplace surround with new granite

This was a little message center in the kitchen that homeowner wanted to modify for a couple wine coolers. We were able to remove the granite top and reuse. Just needed to create a few filler support panels.

Here we took a stock box kitchen cabinet and created an extended face frame look with finished furniture base. This also allowed for us to raise the cabinets a bit to accommodate for more leg room. We also added end panels for a finished furniture look as well as valances between boxes.

This was an outdated and not up to code railing system that the homeowner wanted to update and modernize. We used a newel with a little detail and kept the railings and spindles simple and clean.
