A beautiful 1930's home with a claustrophobic kitchen so we opened everything up giving it all the modern conveniences while respecting the period. This client loves to cook and his husband loves to entertain. We created continuous countertops with different zones for prep, baking, cooking, and daily life. We extended the back to give them a hallway and that the bathroom wasn't opening into the kitchen. A favorite is the island where everything happens. The house now boasts large parties and everyone is happy and comfortable.
