The project was a residential conversion of an 800m² building, originally a working men's club in West London, into a modern single family home.

The main task was to 'marry' the original parts of the listed building with new contemporary architectural elements to create a modern open living space for a young and growing family.

The original building was grade II listed which meant that a lot of its features could not be removed or altered, but the client's briefing was for a modern contemporary home, enhancing the natural light where possible.
