Modern Courtyard Home

Taking advantage of a central well-lit courtyard was essential in re-thinking the layout of this mid-century home. By minimizing the distinction between outdoor and indoor, we created spaces filled with warmth, light and framed views. A significant retrofit was also carefully integrated into the design so as to accommodate large expanses of glass and a structural steel exoskeleton.
