This townhouse remodel is circa 2023. A creative mix of Ikea budget cabinetry with a few custom solutions - like turning the frig on end and wrapping it with a display cabinet/family planning center. The peninsula that juts out in a curvilinear shape created an eat-in counter solution that flowed into towards a back slider door - maximizing countertop usage and incorporating casual dining. The recycled glass in resin solid surface countertop pre-dates today's man-made quartz. We used black granite tile for the rest of the countertops for a budget solution at the time. The fun pops of color bounce around the room. Strategically designing with a tight budget but making the whole space feel completely custom.
