Modern Glam Farmhouse

Midcentury meets modern in this family friendly farmhouse. Our design team was challenged with energizing a dark and antiquated Dutch estate into a light filled, energetic home packed with pops of color, mixed materials, progressive art and accessories. Every layer of detail was considered from foyer to mudroom while maintaining a consistent approach and an ode to the farmhouse's rustic bones. Photography: Christian Garibaldi

This majestic and sprawling Dutch Colonial is hardly traditional on the inside. We lightened up the paint color and added windows in the left wing. The original stone and door speak to the authenticity of the home and the owner's desire to keep the great bones of the house.
