This warm and inviting space was designed for a modern mountain retreat. The fireplace features dimensional wood tiles made from local salvaged lumber and corten steel cladding. The paired coffee tables, custom designed by Michael Habachy, have sled-shaped steel bases topped with petrified wood stone slabs. The combination of textures such as the over-dyed area rug, the hide upholstered slipper chairs, a coyote fur throw and Navajo-inspired textiles on the pillows, make this a cozy winter getaway. One of our favorite features is the chandelier designed by Emanuel Morez. This illuminated sculpture, made of hand crafted metal vines with cast acrylic leaves, gracefully suspends over a dining table designed by Christian Liagre. Michael Habachy's custom made banquette provides a pop of color in the space. The burnt orange, leather upholstered piece is finished with a nail head studded trim, which was inspired by a vintage belt.
