Modern Victorian Cottage

Circa 1912, this Victorian cottage is located in one of Nashville's first historic overlay districts. Renovated in 2002 to repair the "bones" of the house, phase two in 2007 comprised of a Gourmet Kitchen and Master Bedroom rear addition. The color and placement of the existing exposed brick chimney along with the future lap pool in the rear yard were utilized as inspiration for the unique granite selection. The granite, found in Brazil and labeled as "Louis Blue" or "Van Gogh Blue", takes center stage while GE Monogram appliances, cork flooring, glass mosaic tiles and custom Maple cabinetry compliment. The over-sized french doors within the kitchen can be opened to allow for an increase in living space onto the rear acid etched concrete patio. One of the favorite amenities of the client, the fire pit is the favorite place to make smores or enjoy a cool evening.
