"They wanted a more modern and chic look, but I had to integrate works of art." The lobby sets the tone with its tapered console, its gold-rimmed mirror, its wallpaper marrying the hues of the decor and its Ottoman royal blue velvet cushions. "I chose this blue because it is found in the canvas, it brings a certain freshness. I added caramel, greige, black, chrome, walleye. Do not be afraid to mix the tones, it's all about recall and balance. The designer also plays with contrasts, like the warm matte walnut cabinets and the pale and glossy marble floor; the latter creates a beautiful alignment of the vestibule to the dinette area. The wood paneling of the foyer-television area echoes the kitchen cabinets and personalizes the space.
