I enjoyed working with this lovely family in Morgan Hill. They have a traditional, Mediterranean style architecture on the exterior of the home. The interior had nice arches and crown moulding throughout.

We were inspired to bring the Mediterranean feel to the interiors, and also add a transitional/contemporary touch to fit the lifestyle and design style of this young family.

We combined traditional elements, such as tufting, nail head trim and embroidered fabrics with the contemporary/clean lines of the dining room furniture and buffet lights.

This project came together very quickly. I offered several design choices in each product category, and we selected all the elements within a few hours. Their teenage daughter did a great job settling disagreements on the design with mom and dad. I think we have a future interior decorator on the horizon!

This entire project- living room and dining room was installed in one day. Mom didn't tell the family when the installation day was, and we kept it a secret. Mom took the day off from work, the kids went to school, and dad went to work. When they came home, they were in for a huge surprise! They loved it, and I loved working with this wonderful family!
