This new custom built home is in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver. One of the challenges of building homes in Vancouver is that the standard lot is only 33 feet wide, resulting in homes that can easily feel cramped. Our home owners overcame this by designing an open main floor with a large glass sliding door leading out to the back deck. Pale neutrals and plenty of windows also open up the space and create an airy, relaxing atmosphere.
