From our step 1: the brief, Lisa’s style was everywhere but couldn’t be realised in a dull grey gloomy interior. She wanted to sell, but the homes’ location is enviable. Based on her treasures, (the green velvet sofa, occasional furniture, buffet and pendant lights) and her love of green and white, homeTonic created step 2: the concept: this “Colonial Glamour” scheme. When we presented (step 3) she was delighted. We started the transformation with a fresh paint colour throughout and updated the ceiling lights. We added luxurious layers with wallpaper, curtains and beautiful linens in the bedrooms and added new function to the living spaces, defining with textured rugs and clever furniture placement and adding pops of colour with fabrics, individual art and gorgeous lighting. Lisa has no thought of moving now.
