Remodel
Principal Architect, Chip Jessup
The project involved architectural design services for the addition to, and remodeling of an existing two-story tract home located on a flat lot in a mature neighborhood. The existing home did not support the family’s life-style and interests.
Some design issues and objectives included:
•Remodeling and expanding the kitchen to take advantage of our client’s cooking skills
•Improving/updating the appearance of the living room and family room – specifically address the faux stone finishes and providing space for modern fixtures
•Creating a music room/office, acoustically isolated from the rest of the house
•Providing a better bedroom/play area/work space for the homeowners’ teenage son
