Mountaintop Residence
What appears from a distance to be a small Italian hill town is a collection of structures that encompass a family's idyllic retreat. The two and a half kilometer private road that ends at the main compound passes a pair of guest houses constructed in the same simple but romantic style. An auto court "piazza" is overlooked by a stair tower and front entry that leads to the multi-level main residence. Salvaged and reclaimed materials from Tuscany were used extensively throughout the project.
