Even though the original kitchen was in good shape, the homeowners wanted to add more cabinetry and make the island larger. We shortened a wall to accomplish that. Homeowners love the look of wood, we choose walnut and high gloss white to break up some of the darker color of wood. We added a large serving are for entertaining which includes a wine unit with refrigerator drawers. We wanted to achieve a warm modern look which can withstand the test of time and I believe we achieved that.
All cabinets were locally custom build and installed by A. Flottemesch.
Drake construction arranged all the construction labor and did a fantastic job.
