High impact was added to this kitchen through the striped back splash design using glass subway and 1x1 mosaic tile. The original cabinets were kept and painted white, while the counter top was updated to butcher block and the excess butcher block was used to make floating shelves as a cost saving...

The fireplace was refaced with limestone dry-stack up and the hearth with updated porcelain tile. The mantel was updated with a simple modern design in cherry wood.
