This residential development is located near Santa Rosa Park in San Luis Obispo, just a short distance from Cal Poly State University. It is comprised of two residential units stacked over a tandem parking garage, with each unit offering approximately 1,500sf of living space, featuring 2 large bedrooms and 3 3/4 baths. The unique aspect of this project is the design process that led to this solution, which involved maximizing available space within the allowable floor area while accounting for the City’s stepped side setbacks, parking requirements, the client’s programmatic needs, and a future phased ADU.
