Bathroom solution in a Victorian in SF- new pedestal sinks, but have a storage tower and medicine cabinets with lights (Robern). Limestone floors have an accent border with mosaic tiles.

This narrow bathroom trick was to only have the counter be 12" deep with over-hanging sinks. A wall of mirrors hides recessed medicine cabinets. A glass shower screen makes the tub/shower work. Dark grey slate tiles work to give contrast to the maple cabinets.

The glass shower screen is on hinges, so that getting into the tub/shower is easier with the narrow space left over to the sink counter.
