We transformed this, once dull and tired vacant cottage, into a soothing short-term rental.

Starting with the exterior, we replaced the pressure-treated wood deck, and updated the landscaping to give it a revitalized look.

We went for darker LVT hardwood floors throughout to add warmth and sophistication. We stuck to easy on the eye, earth colors.

These soft tones elegantly harmonize with the rich, dark floors, creating a perfect balance of light and depth throughout the cottage.

In the kitchen/hallways, we used Benjamin Moore Woodland White … but don’t let the name fool you. This is not a boring shade of white, it is the PERFECT mint green. It is subtle and soothing, with a drop of mint green.

For the living area and bathroom, we chose 2022 color of the year, Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog.

To help pull this look together, we collaborated with Balé, previously Bali Bungalow, whose products are all handmade in Bali using indigenous techniques.

However we also revitalized some second hand pieces, and purchased the staple leather chaise sofa from Homegoods.
