This gunite swimming pool features a floating rock in the shallow end. The raised stone retaining wall forms a pedestal for an artful sculpture. The ambiance of the setting is beautifully enhanced by the subtle crafting of this "grotto"esque waterfeature. The pool was built in the early 70's when it won its first National Award. It was re-photographed (here) in 1988 and was awarded an additional National Award for classic pools, ten or more years old .
