This wonderful client was a naval engineer and had traveled extensively during his career. After he purchased this house set in the middle of huge evergreens in the Pacific Northwest (Washougal, WA) he brought me in to bring in a warm, inviting nautical theme. I was able to incorporate many of his mementos and beautifully display them. By adding color and providing two seating areas, the long living room developed into a cozy retreat for curling up by the fireplace, or having great conversations in the sitting area.
