Island space is a common issue in Dove Canyon homes. In the 90's Islands were not built for size. We fixed that issue by making a new custom island in this kitchen. While we were the customer decided to go ahead and reface the entire kitchen.

We replaced all of the hardware with blum soft close hinges, and replaced all of the drawers with maple dove tail softclose undermount.

We threw in a trash can pullout in the sink and made the island almost twice the size!
