Project Description:

This project began as a full gut renovation and evolved into a truly special space as our clients decided to go all in. Along the way, we encountered a few surprises, but our clients’ patience and trust in our team made all the difference. The finished home is a reflection of the strong collaboration and mutual respect we had throughout the process.

One of the most rewarding additions was the creation of a legal basement suite, offering the perfect mortgage helper for the homeowners. The main floor boasts a stunning cast concrete fireplace, adding an element of elegance and sophistication to the living room.

We were committed to maintaining the home’s character, so we preserved some of its original features as a nod to its history. For example, the spiral staircase railing was carefully retained, adding a touch of timeless charm to the space. Additionally, we added six skylights, flooding the home with natural light and making every room feel open and airy.

The kitchen is one of our proudest achievements on this project. It’s not only beautiful but incredibly functional and spacious—certainly a joy to cook and entertain in.

Despite the challenges, including the unexpected rise in material prices due to the pandemic, our clients were a pleasure to work with and remained understanding throughout. We were also thrilled to incorporate solar panels for the first time, making the home more sustainable and energy-efficient.
