This project involved transforming a sturdy but dated 1960s house into an impressive and modern family home. The old attached garage was knocked down and rebuilt as a kitchen diner with two bedrooms above, and the living room extended to the rear.
The central feature stairwell was remodelled as an oak-clad gable end, with a covered porch spanning the new oak front door.
Internally, the house was replumbed and rewired with a new kitchen and new bathrooms installed.
Redecorated and styled throughout the finished house felt spacious, airy and bright. With five bedrooms and a substantial ground floor office, it was designed for modern living.
