Newcastle Kitchen Remodel

Northwest based kitchen remodel. We took a typical builder-type kitchen and gave it it's own identity with a mix of stained and painted woods, salvaged materials and sustainable furniture.

The counters are all solid surface for low-maintenance. The kitchen sink employs a single basin with a touchless faucet. The tiles were made in the USA and tie in the island very well.

We found an old cabinet at Habit for Humanity and added a cornice and created a custom made mid-cabinet for charging electronics with a slider door and a counter for the desk. It was all painted to match. And viola, it looks and preformed awesome!

We went to a local mill and found a killer slab. We had it dried, sanded, sealed and used "bowties" to stabilize it. It fits perfectly in a small dinette area. The base mimics natural branch forms and balances the top perfectly.
