Newcastle Residence

This project was a whole house refresh. Kitchen was the focal but we touched nearly every square foot of this home. With lots of beautiful features throughout the house, this was quite the transformation.

Removing the wall separating the Dining room from kitchen transformed the closed concept, making the whole hose flood with natural light. We replaced the wall with a peninsula of cabinets that incorporated a prep sink.

Adding the skylight helped brighten the corner but the lack of ambient lighting keeps it feeling dark.

The popcorn ceiling and lack of light made this a drab area to use.

A view from the from entry into the Living Room/Dining Room area. The refinished oak hardwoods turned out beautiful. Eliminating the popcorn ceiling really create a clean fresh look. The room was brighten by adding a skylight and strategically placed recessed lights.
