Working on this grand colonial to accommodate the needs of a busy family was a lot of fun, and I truly enjoyed partnering with my clients (and friends) to personalize their new home, mixing tradition with a modern sensibility. I was inspired by a few wonderful heirloom furniture pieces, that we worked together to restore, such as the walnut sideboard with caned sliding doors, and a terrific brass tray that was redesigned into a cocktail table.

I'm thrilled with the colors that work easily with the natural light of the rooms, and the modern and vintage chandeliers. Combined textures throughout compliment the modern custom area rugs, which will someday also be a family heirloom. Thank you Dan and Rachel for inviting me to help with your beautiful home !
