Referred by her remolding contractor, the lovely homeowner and I developed a great relationship. We went through many iterations, but eventually landed on a retro-farmhouse look. We used full-overlay euro-style cabinets with 3"fillers between all the cabinets which gave it a flush-inset feel without the busyness of the vertical and horizontal lines of flush inset.
We hid the 18" dishwasher, freezer, and refrigerator behind integrated panels. Bet you can't figure out which are cabinets and which are appliances.
