This grand family room was updated to accommodate more adult entraining as their families needs changed. Working with an heirloom oriental rug, the fabrics and materials were chosen to compliment the rich colors and textures. Ample seating was added including two sofas, a swivel chair and built-in window seats with bookcases. The gas fireplace mantel was also updated to fit the rooms new transitional style. Grass cloth wallpaper adds warmth and texture as well as the custom drapery with decorative boarder tape. A large brass chandelier adds warm lighting as well as the cove lighting in the vaulted ceiling. An original large scale abstract painting brings a jolt of color and energy to the space.
