This deck was completely rebuilt with new concrete foundation, pressure treated substructure and IPE deck boards. Decks boards were fastened with trim head stainless steel screws.
Hardwood like IPE, Mangaris and Teak are naturally rot and insect resistant therefore low maintenance. One coat of hardwood oil once a year will keep the wood from turning a dull grey. This oil is easily wiped on with a mop or a rag.
Railing is a combination of IPE panels and wrought iron panels.
