North Richland Hills #2
This bathroom was updated with new tile floors and fresh paint, To keep down costs, we kept the high quality cabinet vanities and painted them, while replacing the counter tops, sinks, and adding new wide-spread faucets. Counter tops are Silestone Quartz in Helix. The shower was expanded, while adding new tile walls and contrasting floor. A shampoo niche and sitting bench were added as well. We moved the shower head to another wall as well. The original jetted tub was not replaced, but we removed the old marble back splash around it and replaced it with the same tile that was used on the floor to tie it all in. Silestone quartz in Helix was also used to on the window sills.
In the kitchen, we knocked out a wall that separated the kitchen dining room, which instantly opened up the space from all angles. The client decided to keep the original cabinets, as they are good quality and good condition. We painted the cabinets a greige color, installed a blue clay tile back splash. The original counter tops were replaced with SIlestone Quartz in Helix. In the open bar area across from the new stainless steel sink, we cut out the pony ledge and created a radius counter on both outside edges, giving even more counter space and making for a nice pass-through and bar stool area. The original island was painted a classy navy blue, while expanding the top of the island with a larger custom maple butcher block top.
