This kitchen was part of a major renovation to rejuvenate a dated ranch style home. Working closely with the client, we evaluated the family's needs and re-designed the layout of most of the first floor, including relocating the front entry, moving and improving a power room, adding a laundry room, a home office, and lots of closets, and providing better traffic flow throughout. The new kitchen is not in the location of the original kitchen; in it's new space, where it now connects the family room and dining room, it has truly become the heart of the home.

One of the client's first statements was "we are 'autumn' people", which influenced the warm natural colors throughout.
