Not Grandma's Kitchen

This beautiful Napa farmhouse style kitchen went from dark and closed to bright and open. The wall separating the living area and the stairs was opened up to create more flow from the kitchen and entry into the living area. Clean white finishes with dark flooring add contrast and functionality.

Looking into the dining room, the room was transformed by removing chair rail, lightening the paint on walls, a new light fixture, and custom made drapes by Elite Window Coverings, using designer Stephanie Vaughan's signature pleat.

This kitchen and breakfast area are the perfect combination of elegance and casual living. Breakfast area window treatments were custom made by Elite Window Coverings. The concrete pendant lights over the island are functional and fun.

The refacing of the fireplace made a big difference in balance of the room.
