Ocean Park Rancher Revival

A 60s era rancher gets a new lease on life with some strategic upgrades to improve function for a couple merging two households into one.
While many of the houses in this neighborhood were being replaced with new ones, this single storey rancher on a large lot had just about everything these clients needed in a layout.
Top priorities for changes: Replace a mixture of flooring with a single surface that would work for every space and be practical for pets, a space consuming fireplace hearth and breast and a cramped galley kitchen. Better functionality for two spare bedrooms, a and minor update for two bathrooms completed the list when we first met.
