A thirty year-old townhome needed a refresh of its master bath suite, built to current ADA accessibility standards and best practices. The owners asked Karin to redesign the space to eliminate the existing bathtub and replace it with a large, curb-less showering space. A wall was moved to reshape the entry and the room’s existing skylight was reconfigured to enhance the natural daylight that enters the room

Karin consulted with the owners on all colors, textures, finish materials, plumbing and light fixtures, fog-resistant mirrors with lighted frames and the installation of thermostatically-controlled heated flooring throughout the entire suite, including the floor and bench seats in the shower.
