Murnen Design developed contemporary apartment layouts that are elegantly inserted into an existing warehouse space of an historic building, located in downtown Toledo, Ohio. , The Oliver House building was previously converted into a multipurpose complex, home to a micro-brewery, several restaurants, a pub, and a wing of townhouse apartments on the upper floors facing the river. 18 years prior, Kent Murnen was originally brought on as part of the original project construction crew and evolved into part of the design team before pursuing his degree in architectural at Miami University.
