Arcways built and installed this custom helical staircase as part of a remodeling project led by New York architect Luca Farinelli. Two condominiums were combined into one unique residence in the modernist 15-story high rise at 1 Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. The building, initially known as Richard Meier On Prospect Park, has become a premier address with its great location, architectural heritage, abundant natural light, and stunning views.

The staircase is the defining feature of the new space – providing both utility and a very strong focal point. It's build entirely of wood which reduced the overall weight.
