The goal of this remodel was to remove a wall in order to combine a crowded, outdated kitchen with a neighboring small sitting room to create an ideal space for culinary creation. Since this house, like many modern-day households, also utilizes the kitchen as a gathering space, the large cooking island doubles as a great place to socialize.
