Open concept is what everyone likes in a home so family and friends can all be together. Our original plan was to remove the wall between the dining room and kitchen. We discovered a sewer line in the wall so that could not happen. So on to plan B - we still took the wall down to the studs and removed the big bulky walk in pantry which opened up the entry to the kitchen. We took out the angled wall above the dining room which opened up the entire area.
