A formerly barren thoroughfare between the front and rear gardens, considered unusable, immediately cried out to us as an opportunity to create an intimate livable setting. A mixture of antique red bricks and modern concrete slabs formed the foundation for this outdoor dining room, topped off with three understory trees, forming a natural canopy.
