What a fun outdoor space for entertaining!! We had the space so why not incorporate 2 islands, a full size refrigerator, trough sink for drinks and an entertainment center? The cabinets are designed for outdoor use, we created a custom stain to coordinate with their stucco home and after shopping for granite until we almost dropped we located the perfect granite to tie it all together. The ironwork was custom designed by a local artisan, he was able to provide us with wall cabinet door inserts, corbels for the smaller island and a custom support grate for the large island that looks super cool with the onyx is lit from behind. Speaking of the onyx, we designed the back of the island with this material to allow it to be illuminated at night creating a really nice feel to the space. The copper accents really bring out the warm tones of the granite and the wood outdoor light fixtures add so much interest to the space.
