I used the old front door of this house to make a hanging chaise lounge for the front porch. It was surprisingly comfortable so we decided against a full seat cushion. This idea was spotlighted in This Old House magazine in July 2010!

A covered portion of the deck makes for a nice spot for seating, dining and/or entertaining. Old coffee bags tacked onto the deck provide privacy from the neighbors and add a touch of whimsy.
